Embarrasing Moments

We went jhs99 and interviewed the team builders for their most embarrassing or funniest moments and this is what some of them decided to share.[Anonymous]

What's the funniest/most embarrassing moment that you've seen or had happened to you?

1. I was playing with my friend in the gym one day and he pushed me so hard and I did some type of split with my VERY tight jeans and suddenly they ripped.

2. During camp we were waiting for dinner to start and then some kid farted really loud when it was super quiet.

3. We were playing football I was about to tackle some kid then he pulled my pants down. I started crying and the referee was looking at my butt.

4. I was playing tag and I started to get nervous and I peed on myself, everyone saw and I had to change into my gym uniform.

We hope you have enjoyed this little bit of real life fun. Remember no matter how bad things get, the sun will shine tomorrow even if you rip your pants or fart during a quiet dinner so don't let anything ever stop you.

Real Kids Fashion

My group and I went to PS 72 to interview Real kids about how they feel about fashion, what they like to wear, and where they like to shop. We mainly asked girls what they like to wear and they told us uggs, pink book bags with butterfly's, and Hannah Montana. Also they mentioned they don't go shopping with their parents. The kids ware whatever their mom picks out for them but they put the styles together.
Overall the children(8-10 yr old) weren't able to pick their own style but they were able to create it from what they have. Real kids making the basics better and that is what fashion is really about.

Real kids and Music

After speaking to a couple of Real kids we found out that most of them were affected by the death of Micheal Jackson. Three students said they liked to listen to Micheal Jackson, and one participant's favorite song was "beat it". Most of the Real kids we spoke to liked hip hop songs, and like all kids, are stuck on the new hits. Timothy is a big fan of jay z. His favorite songs are "Run this town tonight",and "Goodbye". Chris likes Souja boy and the song "Superman". The real kids we interviewed were great. They were really fascinated with the questions we asked, and want to do more interviews. Look forward to hearing more from the Real kids.

Afterschool At Harlem RBI

We went to PS 72 to visit the younger kids. These students attend the Harlem RBI after school program Called Real Kids. The students participate in activities such as cooking, homework, art, reading, and playing games. They all said that they enjoy the program because it is entertaining and educational.

My team mates and I interviewed Yvette Santos for our fashion blog and found a couple things out. While interviewing her we asked her what are a couple outfits she might wear to some occasions and where she recommended for people to shop. One question we asked was what outfit would she wear to a friend’s party and her answer was a pair of expensive looking jeans, with a pair of stilettos and a nice blouse. Another question was what would she wear to a dinner and her response was a conservative black dress. Finally we asked her where she would recommend people go shopping at, she said Woodbury commons or any other outlet because they have cheap prices and popular name brands. By the looks of it she was very casual and very polite. This goes to show that people do go shopping and like the name brands but should think about the best places to buy them. In the words of Yvette,"It never hurts to go shopping and put a nice cloth on your back. It can help your whole outlook."
